Start collecting urine in the morning
prior to the examination day (e.g. 8:00 a.m.)
Do not collect a first morning urine
Collect all other urine of the day
and night and first morning urine the next day (eg 8 am)
to clean large container (eg bottle of bottled water).
Use a second or third container if the amount of urine
is greater.
Take all your collected urine to the
laboratory for examination. Ask to definitely note the
total volume of urine.
